Where Innovation Meets Artistry

Preparing For Your Design Consultation

A few things you can do before a Design Consultation to make the most  of your time...

    ·      Create a Wish List

It's time to dream! Scour the internet, clip photos from magazines, talk to friends and then create a folder that represents everything you’ve ever wanted in a kitchen. Divide the folder into two sections; one for “Form” which will contain everything you love based solely on appearance, and the other for “Function” which will include appliances, cabinet accessories (such as pull-out waste-baskets) and anything that will be custom built to address a specific storage need.

·      Research

Never underestimate the power of knowledge. Now that you’ve done some dreaming, become familiar with what products are available at what price points and why. (Visit our "Resources" page for some helpful links.) And don't forget, quality must always be taken into account when making comparisons - it is a factor. Just a little research will go a long way when it is time to establish a realistic budget for your new kitchen.

·      Prioritize

Very few people are working with an unlimited budget, so it's a good idea to make a list of your “must haves”. For some it may be a six burner professional range with an integrated grill, for others it could be that one of a kind Onyx counter on a show stopping kitchen island, or perhaps it's as simple as having the perfect place to store all of your spices. Just keep in mind that you may have to make a compromise or two along the way. By establishing your priorities early it will be easier to exercise a bit of flexibility when making other selections.

·   Call For Further Information
